What is PAK ID?

PAK-ID is a mobile app developed by Pakistan's National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) that allows international travelers to submit visa applications online before arriving in Pakistan. Launched in February 2025, the app represents Pakistan's commitment to modernizing its immigration system and facilitating foreign investment opportunities.

The PAK ID App offers several key features designed to streamline the visa application process:

  • Apply for multiple visa types including tourist, business, study, and Sikh pilgrimage visas
  • Track the status of visa applications in real-time
  • Scan and upload documents such as passports and supporting materials
  • Capture or upload photographs using a mobile device
  • Receive visa grant notices directly on your mobile device
